Filtering feature for comments by status or by checkmarks may not function properly

Hello all,

For comments, it is possible to filter the items displayed by Status, but I have found that the checkbox selections are not always reflected in the actual display. Each of the five comments in the sample file has five different statuses.

In the following verification video, I first check the boxes in the order of None, Accepted, Completed, Cancelled, and Rejected, and then uncheck them in the reverse order. At first glance, it seems to work as long as the checkboxes are checked and unchecked in the order shown in the "By Status" menu. However, when the check boxes are checked and unchecked irregularly from the middle of the video, a large discrepancy between the check box selection status and the actual status gradually occurs.

Once the mouse is moved to close the "By Status" filtering menu and then reopen the menu, the status combination of the displayed comments and the status selected by the check box will match only for that moment. However, when the status filtering settings are changed, the abnormal behavior reappears. The sample file is very basic, created in a few minutes from a blank file, but if you actually operate it, you will immediately understand what I am trying to convey. Anyway, it is a very strange behavior.

The exact same issue occurs when comments are filtered by checkmarks.

The issue reported in the following topic is also related to the feature mentioned in this topic, but it has already been improved in build 396, even though I reported it much later.

Comparing the two, the one reported in this topic seemed more important to me personally, so I thought I would comment just in case it might have been buried in the pile of reports. If the report is in the queue of waiting cases, that is fine, and I have no intention of asking for a higher priority.

No, it is not.

There is no news yet on this specific issue, but our developers have assured me that they are continuously making improvements on Japanese text support.

In this case, the issue is font-specific, and they are currently working on improving our product regarding finding fontс substitutes.
