PDF-XChange Viewer Plugin Does Not Work in Internet Explorer

I have just downloaded and installed the latest version of PDF-XChange Viewer. I have made it my default PDF Viewer and also ckecked the 'Display PDF in Browser' checkbox in the Preferences.

However, I am still not able to see the PDFs in Internet Explorer. I have ensured that the plugin is enabled in the IE Manage Addons Section.

In Firefox, it works beautifully.

I use Windows XP - Home (SP2).

I am also using IE7 on Windows XP Home SP2 and it works fine, so I wonder what is different? Do you have the latest version of PDF-XChange Viewer — 2.0.0038.1 ? Check for updates.

I have Free Version 2.0 (Build 38.1). Yes, the same as your's. And yes, I am using IE7.

It works on my system, but not on yours.

Could it be the file that is causing the problem?

When you say that it doesn't work, what happens exactly? Nothing at all? Do you get a blank page?

Well, it all seems to be working OK now. Previously, I had upgraded my version through the software. I uninstalled it, actually downloaded the latest version from the website and installed it.

Now it is all OK. But I still wonder what went wrong in the first place.
