Hello, I have a simple idea that could help improve our users workflow.
When digitally signing a document (certificate), we currently have three options for saving the signed document:
1) Save As - Local (opens the last save location)
2) Save As - Storage (seems no different from the first option)
3) Overwrite current document without prompt (show dialog option disabled)
I propose adding a fourth option for saving signed documents:
4) Save As - Document Location (the Save As dialog opens at the file’s current location)
This option would save users the effort of navigating to the folder where the document is stored. It would allow for an easy overwrite of the file if necessary (keeping the original name) or let users add a suffix like _signed or something similar.
Thank you for considering this feature, and have a great day!

Re: Document signing - Save As to the original directory SOLVED
Hello, jansva
Thank you for the post the two "save as" options have very similar handling, unless you have opened the original file from a storage system, like Sharepoint. If you have opened from an external site like sharepoint, than the last option will use that location by defualt.
As for the request you are making, both of the save as options for digital signing, follow the standard save as rules in our "Document" preferences menu (Which includes, the last used folder, the original document folder, or a static manually specified location): Using the "Original document folder" option, in conjunction with the Signature "save as" options will ensure that you are always saving the the original directory by default.
Kind regards,

Re: Document signing - Save As to the original directory
That is exactly what I was looking for, and I have overlooked it many times. We will make this the default option for new installations, as it best fits our workflows. Thank you for the prompt response. The feature request is no longer necessary.
