Our company currently uses other PDF software but we would like to switch to Xchange Editor because of the license model.
We let some users try Xchange editor and they came back with a few questions.
1. How can we snap to lines when drawing things?
2. Is it possible to draw shapes and lines on scale?
3. Is it possible to ignore remarks when placing new shapes? Now when we place a line on or near a previous one it selects it instead of drawing a new one.
4. Can we create our own stamp with the date of today on it?
5. Can we set shortkeys?
6. Can we set the scale for an entire document?

Re: missing features
Hello simple.,
Welcome to our forums!
Please allow me to use the same notation to make my replies clear and brief:
1) You can use snapping to most things:
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/knowledgeba ... g-function.
2) Yes you can set and use scaling when creating e.g. distance, area and perimeter measurements:
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/knowledgeba ... the-Editor
3) Holding down the Shift key should toggle the "exclusive mode" for a tool - that would allow you to ignore any existing objects to start your new one with your currently selected tool.
4) You can indeed create your own dynamic stamps:
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/knowledgeba ... nge-Editor
But this requires an Editor Plus liecnse
5) The majority of features have shortcuts that are most commonly used for those operations either across multiple software packages or in the PDF software scene, and with a few exceptions like e.g. the Space and Esc key - most other shortcut combinations are fully customizable:
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/knowledgeba ... nge-Editor
6) We do not currently support whole document scaling.
Kind regards,
Stefan

is there a way we can set the shortcuts for all our users in our company? loading a file or something like that? The majority of features have shortcuts that are most commonly used for those operations either across multiple software packages or in the PDF software scene, and with a few exceptions like e.g. the Space and Esc key - most other shortcut combinations are fully customizable:

Re: missing features
Hello simple.,
You can indeed share a stamp collection once created with all users:
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/knowledgeba ... ers-to-use
And the same applies for preferences (including shortcuts) as well and these two articles should help:
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/knowledgeba ... e-machines
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/knowledgeba ... nvironment
Kind regards,
Stefan
