Hi all,
if installed the viewer with the following comand:
PDFXVwer.exe /SILENT /NORESTART /COMPONENTS="PDFViewer,Languagess,Help" /DIR="C:\Programme\Tracker Software\PDF-XChange Viewer\" /PDFV
The installation looks ok, but are there any switches for the browser plugins and to set the pdfx-viewer as default viewer?
regards
Bernhard

The necessary switches are:
/COMPONENTS=<component_list>:
- IEAddin: plug-in for Internet Explorer to view PDF files in a browser.
- FFAddin: plug-in for FireFox/Opera/Safari to view PDF files in a browser.
/PDFV -- If specified, PDF-XChange Viewer will be set as a default viewer for PDF files after installation.

When attaching files to any message - please ensure they are archived and posted as a .ZIP, .RAR or .7z format - or they will not be posted - thanks.

Re: Silent installation of the viewer
We have recently purchased an update to version 4 from 3 to use within our corporate environment and can install silently no problem, however, when we try and remove version 3 this requests a reboot, is there any way we can uninstall 3 with no reboot then install 4 with no reboot as we would like to remotely deploy all? Many thanks

Hi,
regrettabley not - as a 'device' Windows requires a restart to modify a devices installation in anyway.

If posting files to this forum - you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded - thank you.
