PDF file size

Post by togashi »

Our company has a field site that is using PDF-XChange and they are saying the files created are much larger than those created by Acrobat Pro, making them more difficult to email, etc.
Is there a way to reduce the file size?

we take great pride in the advanced optimisation and compression our creation tools offer and there are numerous documented examples from clients supporting this - however there will always be exceptions - could you possibly supply some examples (both the pre PDF file and the PDF itself) - usually there is an explanation for this - e.g. differing settings used etc.

We would be happy to advise.

Please ZIP any files posted to the forum - or feel free to email - usrfiles@tracker-software.com (please always zip)

thanks

I will have someone at the field site send them to me. And I will zip them and forward it to you.
Thanks!

I compared several PDF-tools and XChange definately makes the smallest PDFs for me.
