The size of the bookmarks font can be reduced by clicking on the zoom out icon. From your screenshot, your bookmarks font seems to be at the maximum size.
The size of the text used in annotations can be changed from the Text Formatting options on the right-click menu when creating notes. The font, colour, and size can all be changed for individual notes, and the default can be changed too.

As far as the Note-Box size and the font of the corresponding subject, author and date it seems that these cannot be changed, right? I could only change the font of my "freetext" entry.
To the Developpers: Would it be possible to add the possibility to further reduce the size of the notes-box and maybe even adapt the size of the font of the subject, author and date automatically to the size of the note-box. The size of the box in my screenshot of the original posting is the smallest I could get.
