Question 2 (actual current question) how to add a "suffix" being the total amount of pages?

seems like that isn't one of the "styles"

This might seem pointless to you at first, but might prove useful if you combine PDFs with different table of contents, to differentiate them from each other

e.g.
1/10
2/10
3/10

etc...

Currently there is no control of suffix in this way. I have suggested this myself it in the past, and the Dev team cited that it is unlikely to happen, with some good reasons (which I sadly cannot remember at the moment).
It may be something that comes later in the future, but I cannot promise suffix control will come anytime soon. As per usual, if a ticket comes from this request, I will sneak back in here and update the thread.

I am afraid that as expected, this cannot change. Specifically, This goes directly against the Specification, which limits what is available in the page numbering functions heavily. Any "suffix" added here would be entirely unsupported in other softwares, and thus we cannot offer them at all.

seems to work fine with the in-built "add text to bookmark title"-tool

It is amazing just how long you can go not noticing something new in an old feature when you get "too-used-to" it.. I dont recall this being added, but surely enough, it has been here for well over a year. My apologies for the mistake!
