Moving grid view in the beckground behind content

Is there a way, to put the grid and helper lines behind the content?

Hello, FelixPDF

I am afraid that there is not. The grid and guides are an overlay in all senses of the word. Placing it behind content, especially in a format that is unfortunately flooded with "scanned" pages (meaning a full page sized white background) would diminish the usability here for the majority of users. I will pass the suggestion along to the Dev team for consideration as a new option, but I cannot promise we will see a change in this area.

Kind regards,

That would be so great, even better if it would be optional. Your valid point about full page white background images in scans I did not thought about. My usecase is in annotating and note-taking without any off that.
