Viewer crashes after saving modified PDF

I just installed PDF-XChange Viewer 2.0039 and tried it, but it already crashed several times during a save operation of a modified PDF ("…has to be terminated" and Debug: "… PDFXCview.exe: 0x0000005: Access violation"). Fortunately the file I tried to save is ok after this and contains all modifications I did. Some times crashing occurs only when I try to perform further modifications after having saved the file. I have some similar files for which this behaviour can be reproduced but also others which obviously never show this behaviour.

The best thing is to send the file to Tracker Support, via Report a Problem… on the Help menu.

They will then have both the file and your system details that they need to resolve the problem.

Problem reproduced and fixed now. Fix will be available into final release of build 39.

is there any difference between the actual version 2.0039 and a "final" release of built 39, which is not reflected in a different version number? Or do you mean built 40?

Current version is Release Candidate 2 of the build 39 (see [RC2] in about box).
Final release of the build 39 is promissed to be available on Monday, 18.
If the guys in Tracker will continue in their good job, then build 40 will be available in next 4-6 weeks
after build 39.

There is a great difference between the actual version and the final release of the built. For example, in the final version of build 39 (2.0.39.2) such features as Link Editor Tool, Measurement Tools, TXT/RTF format for Sumarize Comments, etc will be realized.
