Should you be able to change the Permission Details and/or change the Security Method if there are no passwords set on X-Change Viewer Pro 2.039?
If yes, my Security Method is always greyed out and the Details aren't changeable - any ideas?
If it's not available currently, do you have a planned date for this feature to be added?
Many Thanks

Re: Changing Document Properties - Security Options
Hi,
I don't think that this sorts it as I am running xchange viewer Pro, so not sure if this comes under the 'viewer' catagory or the 'xchange pro' catagory. Also the file I am looking at doesn't say it is '(Secured)' and says albeit greyed out, security None and all details as 'Allowed'.
Thanks for giving me this as a pointer though.

As the reply in that thread says you need to use "PDF XChange Pro." You are using "PDF XChange Viewer Pro" which has no option to edit the document properties.

Ability to change security settings should be available into build 40 of the viewer.

OK, thanks Bhikkhu & Ivan
FYI. I think I have now found you can also do it using PDF-Tools 4, using the Edit Page/Content Settings.
It's on the 2nd set up page, Security tab. Looks like it'll do it but will have to experiment.
Also great that it should be getting added to Viewer Pro in version 2.040
Thanks
