Hello pdfxdrc,

Welcome to the Forum.

Can you please check if you have selected an advanced print option that includes comments/annotation?

Greetings,

I will say this just in case, but if you are compressing/reducing the size of the file, there also is an option to disregard comments during the save process. There is also a checkbox within the dialog box to this effect.

May this be of Good Help;

Hello,

Do you have this problem with a specific document or with all your documents ?

You could try to make a brand new PDF and put some comments on it.
When you go to File > Print, make sure to select "Documents and Markups" or "Whole Content".
Then, do you see the comments in the Print Preview ?

Kind regards.

I wonder if the last sentence of your reply is correctly formulated.
Do I understand that, if "you" add comments to the document of your colleague, then it is possible to print them ?

I do not know if you can extract one page of the document in question (including non-printable comments) and/of if you can delete confidential information from it and then post it here on this forum for further investigation ? If not, you can still send it to support@pdf-xchange.com. If even that is not possible, then it will become difficult to help, I guess.

Kind regards.

it dosn't matter if the sentence is correct formulated. i will explain it in other words. it is not possible in a document ( that with the problem ) to print the comments even if several person do that. and it is possible of eacht persons to print out comments in each other document with that i tested it again.

with kind regards

Hello,

Like I said before, without the document itself or an extract of it, it is almost impossible to guess what could be the cause of the problem. Most probably, your document contains personal information and you can not post it here on this forum.
So, maybe you are prepared to send it over to support@pdf-xchange.com for further advise ?

What you can still try is, create a new blank document and then use the "Insert Pages"-option (via the Organize-ribbon > Insert) to insert pages from the problem document. In the "Insert Pages"-dialog-box, click the "Options"-button and make sure that everything is set to "Copy" (= default settings). Finally, try to print the Comments again from within the new document.

Does that help ?

Kind regards.

Hello, all

@Willy & Kenny, thank you both for your help here, every time I looked at this post one of you had already asked everything I would have. Now in reviewing this, I wonder if perhaps the issue is the application which was used to create the file or apply the problematic comments.

@pdfxdrc
If comments that you personally add to a file are printing, even in a document where the other comments are not printing, than the issue is likely with the comment structure themselves. I have seen some issues in the past where some software will implement special "comment types" that do not exist according to the specification, but in practice work almost identically to an existing comment type within that software, in some of those cases, we cannot see, or interact with those comments.
I wonder if perhaps the problematic comments in this case are one of those special types, and so our print dlg definition of what a "comment" is, is omitting them because it cannot recognize them?

As Willy has said I am afraid that without looking at the document directly, I can do little more than speculate what may or may not be the cause of this situation. If it is at all possible, I would ask that you please send us a copy of the document.
If it is not a sensitive file here on the forums would be ideal. If there is sensitive data, please instead send by email with a link to this forum post, so I can be informed when it arrives. The official support email address is as willy noted previously, <Support@PDF-XChange.com>.

Thank you , i want to correct that only the answers of the comments are not printeble. The comments itself are printeble. I Think the failure description ist different so i will wait if that is necessary and would send a test document after you proofed that that could change your support.

with kind regards

Hello pdfxdrc,

Yes - there is no provision in our Editor's print dialogue to print replies to a pop-up window, sorry!
In 'another PDF tool' there is not provision to print pop-up notes at all - even the first one in the pop-up.

Kind regards,
Stefan
