Scan-Problem

Post by jürgen somorjai »

Hello, there is a problem with scanning. A magazine page with normal writing and a head in the middle that is tilted about 15° to the side is interpreted by the EDITOR
2025_PDF-Tracker__Scan-Problem-1__2025-03-19.png
not as such, but vertically. So the whole page is tilted sideways so that the head is vertical. The horizontal writing is ignored!
“Straighten page content” does not help; the program then tilts the sheet 15° to the other side!
I have tried various options, but I can't get the sheet scanned properly!
I had to switch to the original Canon scanner program and scan with it: It worked without problems!
Where is the error? In my settings?
Please give me some tips.
Regards, JSo

Hello, jürgen somorjai

You can try disabling our option to "deskew" from the image insertion options:

This option can sometimes conflict with the deskew that scanners offer internally, leading to overcorrection, or alternative interpretation of the document skew.

Please let me know if turning this option off helps at all.

Kind regards,
