Steps to reproduce:
1. Select a word (for example "Hello")
2. Right click on the selection
3. "Add Link" (for example to another page of the same document)
4. Click on the "Edit Objects" button
5. Move the "Hello" word elsewhere
6. Click on the "Select Text" button (to deactivate the "Edit Objects" mode)
7. Hover over the "Hello" word: It no longer has a link
8. Hover over the blank area where the "Hello" word used to be: The link still works
So PDF-XChange Editor moved the word but didn't move the link.
Same thing happens when a link wasn't created by me (via PDF-XChange Editor) but is a native part of the PDF file (for example, generated via LaTeX).

Re: Moving text doesn't move links
Hi, math
this is because the PDF specification does not include "hypertext", only coordinate based link objects.
In HTML and word processing formats true "hypertext" is used where the link is associated with the text itself. The PDF format is a very different beast and it simply does not support "hypertext".
You are going to have to move the link objects and the text discretely I am afraid.

Could you please elaborate what you mean by "discretely"?

Hello, math
Individually. The "add/edit links" tool, present on the Home tab, can be used to create, as well as select and move existing link objects to new coordinates. Kind regards,
