Unable to attach pdf attachment to a file (buttons are missing and grayed out)

I am using the latest version of editor (free version).

My current pdf file is unprotected.
I tried to attach a pdf file to it.
I clicked on the attach (paperclip icon) button in the toolbar.
An Attachment panel opened in the lower half of the screen.
This panel had a mini toolbar.
It did not show a "New attachment" button, as shown in the screenshot below:

Secondly, it had a Save button, but that button was grayed out.

Is this a bug, or are these features grayed out because they are only available in the paid (premium) version?

Hello Raindrops,

The command you indicate is the Open Attachment button. The Add New Attachment command is a feature limited to the licensed version. From your post in this topic, you have probably disabled the display of commands that require the licensed feature. So it is not surprising that the Add New Attachment command does not appear.

Yes, after burning my fingers once, I preferred to hide the paid premium features.
(Well-spotted!)

I had a feel that this may be a premium feature, but was not sure.
