because they are not ready ...

This is often the question on this forum, and to be honest I find it a bit strange that there are greyed options that are not implemented yet. One is then confused whether the option is not available for the given pdf, or because of some setting or sth else.
It looks like a marketing, "look, this is what we are going to implement soon" ... but it does more harm than good, IMHO

For some of us is good to see grayed options, we know what we get in next build
It is part of the developing progress. Big software companies often release two kinds of releases - stable and beta so they need maintain two source repositories - in one apply only bugfixes and to second bugfixes and new features. If you want to avoid this and have only one source then when releasing new build it will contain not only bugfixes but also not yet finished new features.

Are you saying that these greyed options are not visible in the final releases? If this is the case, then it's fully understandable.

If I understand correctly posts on this forum, then measurement tools should be available in final build 39.

It would mean that a lot of functions are coming into final bould 39:
- insert empty pages
- replace pages
- page transition
- measurements tools
- link tools
- search including bookmarks and comments
...
do you think that is the case?

I'm not saying that they are not working hard, I was only questioning the usage of greyed options in the application. IMHO, they have no place in the final versions of the software. It's not standard as this is used for something else than options that are not yet implemented.

We are currently working on the measure tool and expected it to be finished soon.

We are constantly working on improving our products and integrating new features, but you will appreciate that with software development it's not all plain sailing.

We have had some delays on this next build which we are trying to close out.

Thank you for your understanding :D
