Suppose you have a complicated selection of files with sub-selections of page ranges that you want to use more than once.
For instance, if you find that you had selected 10 files, each with page ranges of 3 to 7 pages, and you run the Combine Files tool only to discover that you made some erroneous page selections and you want to rerun the tool with a corrected selection. As it is now, the user must start from scratch the onerous task of repopulating the selection screen manually, one at a time. Wouldn't it be nice if you could just pull up the old selection that you had saved and simply correct the selection before resaving it?
Or suppose you want to run the same selection but newly each new period, such as a month, quarter, or year?
Thanking you in advance for your consideration of this suggestion.

Re: FR: Combine Files/Options: Save Selection
Hello, PHK
This may not quite be what you are looking for, but if you have all of the desired files open in the Editor, the "add files" menu does offer an option to add all open files in a single click. To go a step further, as per your example, if you specifically need pages 3-7 from all files, you can select all files at once, before using the page range function, to adjust them all to the same range: Alternatively, if the files you are needing to process are all in the same location, you can simply drag/drop them from the file explorer into this window, or use multi-select from the add files menu to accomplish something similar.
I will touch base with the Dev team to see if we could consider this, but I am unsure if this will be accepted.
Kind regards,

I already use the multi-select and the files are not all in the same folder, not that that is the heart of the problem. I DO select all the files first, sort them in my preferred order, and then specify the page ranges which vary from file to file in the selection. I take a screenshot of my final selection rather than rely on my memory for later repeats. It's funny we can export/import all sorts of things that need to be remembered but not this...yet.

Hello, PHK
No worries, I was simply trying to offer possible solutions that could make it easier in the meantime, like usual. In any case, we will have to wait and see what the Dev team thinks. If this is accepted, I will come back here and add a ticket number.
