[build 396] In Crop Pages dialog, preview screen is significantly corrupted when dialog size is changed from the default

Post by rakunavi »

Hello all,

In build 396, I noticed that when changing the size of the Crop Pages dialog box from the default, the following parts are displayed incorrectly.

  • Cropped page size information displayed at the bottom of the preview
  • Size and position of the preview area
  • Scroll bars throughout the dialog
The procedure for reproducing the problem is quite simple. For a multi-page document, open the Crop Pages dialog box and resize the dialog from the default. Close the dialog and reopen the Crop Pages dialog box, and you should be able to reproduce the problem.

Hoping that the above information will be of some help to you.
Thank you so much for your continued support.

P.S.
In submitting this report, I created a video as usual, but it was rejected with the error message "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached." I first created a video of about 6 MB and received an error message, so I reduced the file size to less than 5 MB by lowering the resolution and tried again, but the error message still appeared. The fact that the error occurs even when I keep the file size under 5MB is not an error specific to this post, but may be that the total size of my posted attachments has violated the quota limit.

Until now, I have taken the greatest possible care not to overwhelm server resources by limiting the number of colors in attached images to 256, and for video files to a resolution of 1024 x 768 and a size of 5 MB or less as much as possible. However, the habit of casually attaching video files may have led to this quota limit. That said, it is extremely difficult to continue future submissions without attachments. If the cause is indeed the quota limit, I would appreciate it if you could reconsider.

Best regards,
rakunavi

Hello, rakunavi

I will need to consult with our web team regarding the upload quota issue there, sorry for the inconvenience in the meantime..
[Edit: When I went to go report this, it seems Dimitar beat me to it, and the issue should already be resolved! We can all thank him for his diligence!]

As for the crop resize issue, I was able to reproduce it easily. It has been reported to the Dev team and should be seeing some attention shortly.
[Edit2: It seems that they found this one overnight as well, and have already found a solution, it should be present in build 397, but as it is a minor impact, this is not likely to see a rushed release unless other larger issues come up.]

Kind regards,

Hello, rakunavi.

According to "board attachment quota has been reached" issue. As Dan said - we tried to solve this problem. But if you experience something similar in the future - please let us know about it. We appreciate the help you give us in improving our products and we would not like you to have any problems or inconveniences in this process...

PS. For the test, I tried to add a post with an attached 12 MB GIF. Succeeded.

Best Regards,
Vasyl.

Thank you Daniel and Vasyl for your reply.

I have successfully confirmed that my quota limit has been relaxed.
I appreciate your generous and prompt action.
Please give my best regards to Dimitar.

I am also relieved that you already know about the crop pages dialog issue.
I look forward to future updates.

Best regards,
rakunavi
