Migrating settings to a new laptop

Post by johnm »

I've got a new laptop and I want to move XChange Editor to it. I've found information on how to migrate the license on an old thread (viewtopic.php?t=37409). But I'd also like to know if I can migrate my settings. I've spent a lot of time moving all my toolbars and shortcuts around and it would be great if that can be migrated rather than having to set everything up from scratch every time I move to a new computer.

Hello, johnm

Yes, simply open the Editor on the old device, and click "File > Manage settings > export settings" then do the same with "import settings" on the new device.
If you use the Classic UI, I believe these tools are under the "Edit" menu instead.
