During installation final build 39 over existing RC2 were files LiveUpdate.exe and ISTask.dll not updated with new versions. In program directory stay files with timestamp from 30.06.2008.

I assume you are a Vista user ??

There are issues trying to over ride Vista's UAC (user Access Control) if you do not have complete Admin control over your PC - we are working on an MSI based installer which should resolve this for the next update - for now you will need to manually install the udpate form here :

No, I use WinXP SP3. But file LiveUpdate.exe in build 39 final have internal version number 3.0.37.1 just like already installed LiveUpdate.exe from previous installation, so is ignored by InnoSetup during installation.
As read in InnoSetup manual:
"The default behavior is to not replace an existing file with the same version number"
This can be solved with ignoreversion flag in InnoSetup script or giving higher version number to file.
I did install LiveUpdate.exe and ISTask.ddl from last installation file manually.

Just checked file version of LiveUpdate.exe , it's 2.0.37.1 although xchange viewer 2.0.39 is installed.

using windows XP SP3 with all updates on Compaq 6720S Notebook
