I marked up a PDF document with the Editor using sticky notes. My student was unable to read the comments with Acrobat, and I was not able to read them with PDFAnnotator.
What's up with this?
How is it possible that comments are not readable?

Re: How is it possible that comments are not readable?
Hello, PetrKrysl
Could we possibly ask for a copy of the document in which you see this situation? The most likely possibility that comes to mind is if you have placed the comments with a "layer" association, and they layer is being hidden by default when others open it, despite being visible on your end. You can check if there is a layer in use from the layers pane (Ctrl_L).
If that is not the case, we would need to see the document, and screenshots of how it looks in the Editor, and in other apps, on your end.
Kind regards,

Apologies. It appears PDFAnnotator can show the sticky notes after all. I am not sure about Acrobat (I don't have that sw myself).

Hello, PetrKrysl
Thank you for the sample file. Nothing in this file seems to have the ability to lead to the comments being hidden, and in comparing to Adobe, they also show all the comments and popups as expected: Perhaps the individual who reported this issue is using an older or problematic version of these applications, or, perhaps, you mistakenly sent them a different copy of the file, from before saving the document..?
Kind regards,
