PDF-XChange Viewer Portable distributed with comerc. product

Hi,

my business partner develops some commercial software products and he is interested in create one software pack, where he wants to have his software product and PDF-XChange Viewer Free Portable too.

He asked me if is it in keeping with your End User License Agreement....

Is it possible to distribute PDF-XChange Viewer Free Portable in some software pack (with other commercial sw product) ?

As you have describe it in your post this would not be possible, he would be required to purchase an SDK product and suitable licence agreement.

I wrote it maybe bad, because he doesn't want to implement PDF-XChange Viewer Portable in his applications, but he wants to install PDF-XChange Viewer Portable on client's PC with installation of his products.

He wants to use probably distribution for End Users so he doesn't want source codes.

Is it same case? Thanks

PS: If is it same case, does he use product PDF-XChange Viewer ActiveX SDK ?

Hi Martin,

Your client can distribute the PDf-Xchage Viewer with his applciations - provided :

1: He does not integrate his application in any way with the PDF-XChange Viewer

2: He makes no additional charge for his product - based on the inclusion of the PDF-XChange Viewer

3: It is only the FREE version (portable or usual FREe Version) he includes

4: He emails us direct and requests permission - just so that we are aware who he is and what application he is bundling PDF-XChange Viewer with
