If assigning a language to text objects is only possible via tags, then my proposal should be read as a request to consider adding the "All text objects are assigned a <P>-tag with a correctly filled Language value" check.

In this post you explained to me that the PDF format rules do not require specifying the language for content presented in the primary language of the document. Therefore, the one I proposed in the first after FR becomes incorrect, as redundant and not conditioned by the requirements of the accessibility of the PDF format.
