Is the Scan Pages feature a free feature or a licensed feature? SOLVED

Hello all,

On the product information page, "Create a PDF from Scanned Content" is listed as a free feature, and the shopping cart icon is not shown in the application menu.

However, as shown in the video below, it seems to be a Licenced feature as far as I can see it actually works.

Also, "Scan Pages and Create a New File/Add Scanned Pages to an Existing File" is treated as a Licenced feature in the "PDF-XChange Product Comparison Chart".

It seems to me that it would be better if the handling of feature were consistent.

I had to double check with the higher-ups on that one before I could answer. As far as my memory said, it should always have been a paid feature (just like the nearly identical "new doc from images" and "combine docs" features are), and I do not know why it was mislabeled. That has been confirmed as the case, and this is a paid feature requiring at minimum an "Editor" license for use.

The product page has been fixed, and the "shopping cart" icon should be addressed in the next update.
