OCR now only in paid version ??

OCR now only in paid version ??

Hi

just updated to version10.60.396 and suddently i cannot do any OCR anymore without paid version is that correct ?

Hi Nolan,

Welcome to the Forum.

As I have already replied to your email:
This will depend on which OCR are you using - the default one ( based on Tesseract) that creates a Searchable Image does not require a license , however the Enhanced OCR will require a PDF XChange Editor Plus license to use, as noted here:

You can check what OCR you have selected in the File >> Preferences >> OCR settings
