Edit / Customize Context Menu (Right-click menu)

Dear PDF X-Change Team,

I would like to ask whether it is currently possible to edit or customize the context menu (right-click menu).

I came across earlier discussions indicating that this feature was not supported in the past. I’m writing to check if it is now available, or if there are any plans to introduce such functionality.

The reason for this request is that the context menu has become increasingly long, making it time-consuming to locate the functions I frequently use. Some menu items are not useful for my workflow and only add clutter. On the other hand, certain useful functions are buried in second-level submenus, requiring extra steps to access.

It would be extremely helpful if users could customize the context menu — for example, by hiding unused items, reordering entries, or bringing frequently used functions to the top level.

I hope you will consider adding this feature in future updates.

Editing the right click menu is not currently supported, and while we do not yet have plans to do so, it is always a tentative item on our list, should the possibility come up in the future. At the moment, this is restricted because of the high variability of the context menu, which would make customizing it both volatile, and confusing.

The highest likelihood of this coming is if/when we see another UI overhaul later on, which changes aspects of this area to be a bit more "static", but for now I cannot say that such an overhaul is planned to happen anytime in the forseeable future.
