Hello,
We rolled pdf-xchange out to our users and I was just contacted by a sales employee who is unable to open embedded PDF's within an excel spreadsheet he uses. I've searched for a solution (pdf xchange is set as the default application for pdfs) and found the KB about renaming the xlsx to a zip and extracting the object.bins, but that does not allow the file extracted to open as a pdf. Even if it did, he has dozens of pdf's in his documents and they lose any semblance of their naming convention with this method.
Is there any way to restore this functionality? I'm hoping you guys worked on something since the KB about extracting the objects.
Thank you,
Billy

Hi,
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/knowledgeba ... d-document
It seems that the MS made a few more changes to their product, so now the PDF file is not the BIN file itself, but one level deeper.
The PDF file is now this file:
...so CONTENTS is the file that needs to be saved as PDF.
Regards.
