Browser Plugin Not Working in Opera 9.52

Post by GT500 »

I have PDF-XChange Viewer 2.0.39.2. I am using Opera 9.52 Build 10108. I am running on Windows Vista Ultimate x64.

I have tried:
* Deleting the plugin, and copying it from the PDF-XChange directory to Opera's plugin directory.
* Checking "Display PDF in Browser" in the PDF-XChange preferences, both while running as a normaly user and while running as admin.
* Checking my browser's plugin settings, which were already set to use PDF-XChange.
* Copying the PDF-XChange directory to the correct directory (it had installed into "Program Files", but all 32-bit software should install in "Program Files (x86)" in x64 editions of Windows) on the assumption that it was looking for application files in the wrong place.

None of these steps have helped. Each time I view a PDF in Opera, I just get a blank page. I can reload the document, but I still just see a blank page.

I'm afraid trouble is because your system is x64 and x64 version of the viewer is installed. but Opera is x86 application.

The x64 version does not install an x86 plugin to ensure compatibility with x86 browsers?
