I understand that the document split feature only temporarily affects the document when the command is executed, and once the document is closed, the settings are not saved anywhere and are not carried over. However, after splitting and closing a document, when opening a PDF portfolio, the portfolio cover sheet was split. As usual, this is a very minor issue, but I am reporting it for reference as it feels a little odd.
Please refer to the following verification procedure for details. As usual, in the following verification video, all settings are reset to default before recording. The corresponding timecode in the video is also included. ([MM:SS] "MM" shows minutes, and "SS" shows seconds.)
- [00:07] Create a new file and save it.
- [00:21] Create a new PDF portfolio and add the file saved in Step 1.
- [00:41] Open any file, split the view, and close the file.
- [00:56] When you reopen the same file, the split view is not applied, as expected.
- [01:03] When you open the PDF portfolio created in Step 2, the cover sheet is somehow split.
Hoping that the above information will be of some help to you.
Thank you so much for your continued support.
Best regards,
rakunavi
