How to make "Select Text" default on startup, insted of "Hand"

Hello,

I use pdf exchange for several years, but this alwas bothers me still:
On startup, the default selction tool is "Hand".
I always have to switch to "Select Text" ("Textauswahl" in German), since in 99% of cases I would like to select text.

I have to switch to the "select text"-tool on every startup.
Is there a way to make this the default startup option instead of "hand"?

Giano is correct, and I can confirm it works as I use this option myself. Since we added the ability for "middle click+drag" to pan through docuemnts, I personally found there is no longer any need for the hand tool, so Select text is much more functional for me as well.

As previously reported here, since build 391, if you disable the "Allow Draw with a Finger Touch" option on PCs with touch-screen capability, the "Select Text tool" will no longer respond when you tap links. Since many stylus users are likely to have this option disabled, the "Hand tool" would still be essential for them.

I wasn't trying to imply anything should be removed, as the hand tool most definitely does have its uses. I was only saying that I personally have no need for it, outside of testing odd interactions that get reported from time to time.
