Silent Install for PDF Viewer

can i use the pdf-tools way for silent-install ?
How are the parameters?

we use the line below and the viewer is not the Standardviewer for PDF Files.
where is the Problem?

After the Installation we have a broken Desktoplink to
"C:\Programme\Tracker Software\PDF-XChange Viewer\pdf-viewer\PDFXCview.exe"
this means that the setup install in the folder we have set and make the link to the default path
Can you fix this also?

Hi,

I'm using PDF Xchange Viewer 2.5.200 and have some problems with the silent installation mode.

The help file says there are only seven "/components=" (pdfviewer, languagess, help, iiaddin, ffaddin, shellextensions, liveupdate). I'm missing the OCR-Component. In normal installation mode I'm able to activate the OCR-checkbox ...

Can anyone help me please?

Hi Mathias,

The Manuals sometimes lag a bit and the OCR module was released with the current build.
I will now ask my colleagues working on the installer whether there is an undocumented switch you can use, and if not - we will see to add it in the next build of the installers.

Hi Mathias,

if you launch the installer from the command line with the switch /help you will get all the switches available for that build. The OCR omponent is called with:

PDFVOCR: OCR for PDF-Viewer.

I've attached that help file here for your convienience.
