Use case:
Sending documents to a accounting mail address for further processing. PDF Xchange is used to a add accounting information like account number an cost center. This could perfectly done with the existing signature features as well as by text comments.
Description of feature:
Add option to send a document, that has been altered (by comments, a signature or a stamp) to a default email address.
The existing mail button can be used. It should be possible to define a default target mail address.
Also the document should be auto saved to a default directory.
Nice to have feature: Adding a signatures should be configurable in the following way. Adding a signature on documents with write protection (i.e. archive PDF) should save a copy in a default folder with signature (without modal dialog).
Send altered document to default email with auto saving

Re: Send altered document to default email with auto saving
Hello, Olaf Sosath
You can accomplish something along those lines with our PDF-Tools batch processing suite, and a well placed Folder monitor running a custom tool.
When you are done using a file in the Editor, simply save it to the monitored folder, then Tools will automatically begin processing, if defined by the tool that is running, apply a signature to the file, and finally, if needed, open a compose window in your mail client with the document attached - so all you need to do is push "send".
I am afraid that such automation capability will not be coming to the Editor as that is strictly the domain of PDF-tools. Mixing the two applications leads to more complexity than is needed for the majority of users, and muddles our design intents.
Kind regards,
