Bookmarks when dragging and dropping files

Up until recently, I was able to drop PDF files into the thumbnails tab, and bookmarks would automatically be generated from the filename. Since the last update or two, this no longer seems to work and the only way to get bookmarks based on the file names is to do the Organize > Insert > Insert File > Options > Copy All Bookmarks method. The latter method is a whole lot longer and inefficient when working on large documents that need to be assembled and modified several times. Is this a bug, or is there some setting that can be changed to get this feature back?

I'm using PDF-XChange Editor Plus Version 10.7.5, build 403

Starting with build 399, drag-and-drop behavior now follows the “Insert Pages” feature's option settings. In your case, the “Add root bookmark, with filename” option should be disabled, so enabling it should resolve the issue.

The option settings for the “Insert Pages” feature will not take effect until the command is actually executed. Please note that you must run the feature on some temporary file, even if it is not necessary. Regarding this point, it would be preferable if the settings reflected the option change alone.
