PDF X-Change Viewer 2.0 (37.1) Pro Crashes Printer Selection

PDF X-Change Viewer 2.0 (37.1) Pro crashes when a certain printer is selected. All of the other printers can be selected and printed to without a problem.

This is a network printer.

That is now several versions out of date, and another update is due out soon.
Check for updates from the help menu and see if the problem persists in version 2.0 (39.2) or build 40 when it is ready.

I used the Help menu to check for updates when the problem occurred (sorry... I should have mentioned that). Now when I go to update it tells me that no update is required. I am not sure why Help --> About PDF X-Change Viewer tells me that it is version 37.1.

Is it possible that it is something configured in the shared printer (such as security permissions?).

IIRC maybe you have a version that had a bug in the Automatic update option.

Download the installation file and reinstall. It might be best to uninstall first.

Unfortunately, that did not work either. I completely removed the program and installed the new version. Help --> About now displays the most recent version. There are no updates available when I check from the help menu.

Based on what you have said it would appear that the printer may be at fault , have you the latest driver for that printer?

Do you get any error codes?

The problem does not exist when I print from Adobe Reader. This is the only error information:

PDF-XChange Viewer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Please use Help -> Error report a Probem.
And whould be very helpful if you can send us, or where where to download, exactly the same driver for the printer which causes troubles as you are using.
