Press Quality PDFs

Post by DocEngineer »

I have a Word document that will be going to a printing house later this month. Previously in Adobe I would use the Press Quality setting to output these documents.

Is there a similar setting/profile in pdf-xchange?

Here is what I am referring to from Acrobat PDF Settings. Where do I access these in pdf-xchange?

Hello, DocEngineer

The vast majority of these options are part of the "save as optimized" dialogue (most of the menu's there even share a similar layout), This dialogue is opened via "file > save as optimized".
With that said, we do not officially offer a feature with this as the core intent, so some of those options are not available in our software at all.

One other item of note is that the "color conversion" options you show are entirely missing from our "save as optimized" feature, however, some parts of that are available with the "convert colors" and "recompress images" tools, both located on the Convert tabs.
