Just to try the new printing engine I printed my huge test file, 11,800 pages (279Mbytes) to my Epson EPL59000 Mono Laser Printer. Well, I didn't actually print it, I just let the print job go to the print spooler.
The resulting print job took about 40 minutes and was 1.24 Gbytes in size.
I then let half a dozen pages go through to the printer, and all looks as it should.

Re: Large Document Print Test
Hm, 40 minutes is a quite long. Can you send me your file, or its part for testing? If you cannot post it here, please use email Ivan@tracker-software.com

Re: Large Document Print Test
The original PDF can be downloaded from my website: Honour Thy Fathers
The test PDF was produced by printing 100 copies of this PDF to a PDF Factory printer driver. 279 Mbytes is rather too much to send even on broadband.
Another thing I noticed is that loading of the file is slower in the latest version — about 20 seconds instead of 5 seconds earlier. It loads in 2 seconds in Foxit Reader and 5 in Adobe Reader. Note the number of pages though — a 11,800 page PDF file is not something that most users would ever come across. Scrolling and zooming this huge file is smoother in PDF-XChange than in Foxit Reader.
