Hi,

I'm not sure if this is the right forum section to post my suggestion.
I was using version 10.5.0.393, which allowed the comment to be viewed in full.

Now, with the latest version of December 18, 2025, which I'm using, I'm noticing that the comment is reduced to the size shown in this photo:

I've tried using XCHANGE's various options and settings, but I haven't found a way to view the entire comment, as it was in 10.5.0.393. Would it be possible to add an optional option that allows anyone who wants to view the comment text in full?

Thanks.

Hello, kio

This was done intentionally. In the past, the Editor would simply cut off anything beyond what physically fit in these constraints.
Due to large user demand, we adopted Acrobat's behaviour to cut off after a set height, and show the "..." as an indicator that there is more. You can read the full comment in the Comments pane (Ctrl+M).

At this time, it is not configurable - though I will pass along the suggestion.

1.
OK, thanks: I really need that.

2.
And then would there be an option that allows me, after opening the comment,
to write 1 sentence on a whole line, without the line going down into 2 lines,
but making the internal rectangle of the comment become "flexible", and "stretch" as I write,
and only go to the 2nd line when I press the "enter" key?

3.
Could you create an option where you can choose the default size of the rectangle
of a newly created/opened comment? (e.g., 3cm x 2cm or 5 x 3cm, etc.)

thanks for everything

Hello, kio

You can see and edit the full content on the page, when the comment is actually opened (double click on the object), but the size is intentionally static due to the PDF specification. Unfortunately for that reason I do not believe it can be made flexible, or given a preset size at this time (the latter option I recall coming up in discussions recently, and may have a ticket for investigation, but I cannot make any promises)

Beyond that, there are no plans to allow manual adjustment of the mouseover tooltip sizing
