Export PDF to Images - no options

Hi, I'm evaluating PDF-Tools 10.8.1 b406 (after applying the .reg fix for the crash) and it seems like the Export PDF to Images options are missing (they are there in the editor). I would expect the option for a destination folder, format, size (height or width), filename etc.

Am I missing something?

The Editor options that I can see seem to be missing what size the exported image should be (you can change the DPI), how do I (for example) export the first page of a PDF to a jpg that's 600 pixels wide and proportionally X high?

In PDF-Tools, each tool is split into a set of actions. The Export PDF to images action only does what it says on the tin, it does not save the file on its own. The next action in the tool should be "save images", like so:

It seems there are no controls on sizing the images that are saved, also it seems this action/export PDF to images action affects the number of pages in the PDF itself.

i.e. I process a PDF, strip off weblinks, add a header, optimize the document etc. and I want to export just the cover page of the PDF as a thumbnail. When I include the Export PDF to Images (only selecting the first page) and use Save Images, the following Save Documents only saves the first page of the PDF - not what I would expect as I would have thought the Image actions were separate to the PDF actions...

Changing the Save Document action to be before the Image actions solves this in my case, but I can see this being a problem in other scenarios...

The sizing from the document should be retained via the "export to images" step, when defining the resolution. Note that not all image formats support such scaling definitions however, so your choice of output format will have an impact here.

As for the workflow, There are dozens of tools we offer here, which will have various interactions with each other. There are ways to accomplish a great many feats, and some of them do require specific settings to play with certain orders of operations - so I do not believe that your potential problem there is an issue, as much as a unique option.
If that is not the result someone wanted, they should probably not use that specific order of operations.
