I’m currently working with several PDF documents that contain multiple email addresses, and I’m trying to extract emails automatically instead of copying them manually. I’m using PDF-XChange tools/editor, but I seem to be missing a straightforward way to do this.
Is there a simple way to:
extract all emails automatically
handle scanned PDFs + normal text PDFs
avoid broken or duplicate emails?
Any recommended method or steps would be appreciated. Thanks!
I am afraid that there is not currently a way to extract specific text strings from base text in a document.
The closest we can offer is, if the string in question is contained inside of a fillable form text field, you can "export form data" - which offers a CSV option, so you can extract the content of the email field quickly from that...
