Issue with Ordering Form Fields on Multi Page Form

Post by EagleHeart »

Hello - I've created an employee performance review form, 4 pages long. My problem is this:

a) The first three fields on the form are push buttons to "Reset Form", "Save", and "Print" (see the attached image).

b) But, I want the form entry to begin with the "Employee Name" field.

c) I want to make the push buttons to "Reset Form", "Save", and "Print" the very last fields in the list of ordered fields.

d) But, the above fields are on page 1 and while I can drag the fields to the end of page 1, I cannot drag them to the very end of the ordered fields, which is on page 4.

Is there a workaround for this?

TIA.

Hello, EagleHeart

Unfortunately Tabulation order is defined per-page, not docuemnt wide. As such you cannot make a field on page one come after one on pages 2/3/4. If you need to have these actions performed at the end of the document, I would advise moving them to page 4 directly.

Also incase it helps, this article describes many of the form creation tools and how to manage fields/tabulation order:
