save toolbar settings. How?

I'd like to save toolbar settings.
When I close Xchange (portable) and open it again, my toolbars -some of which I had configured carefully) are all set to default.
Is this possible?

Please check if the file settings.dat which is located into the same folder where viewer's .exe file is, is write-able.
