Flatten bug?

When initially opening a document, the flatten button is greyed out (of course.) After placing a stamp, it remains greyed out - however, the stamp can still be flattened by F12 shortcut or right click -> flatten.

The flatten button becomes active only after using a different drawing tool. Eg. a line, polygon, etc. Then, next time a stamp is placed the menu button remains available to use.

Other instances even the above strategy doesn't work, the button just doesn't like to enable at all, however the function still works with other methods.

10.7.5 is a very builds out of date and we cannot fix issues in older releases, an update will be required.

I cannot reproduce the issue here, so could you please update to 10.8.2 and see if the issue is still present on your end there?
