I would really like a cancel option.
Example.
I am drawing a textbox - I regret - right click stops drawing.
I am marking an area - I made a mistake - right click - undoes the last click
I am drawing a line - I regret - right click - cancels drawing
I have been using the draw texbox tool - I am done using said tool - right click and I am back using the "hand tool".
Right now I have to press escape every time - which sometimes also results in "unequipping" the tool I was working with. Now I have to go back to the toolbar and repress that I want to draw a line - and then try again.
Does this make sense?
Right click = Cancel/undo/stop using tool

Hi Trox,
Using right-click does indeed cancel most of the operations you listed.
Also, note that you can use the "Keep Selected" option to keep desired tools selected:
Kind regards,
