Hi,
I’ve noticed that I cannot rename files in Windows Explorer while they are open in the Editor (10.8.5 - Build 410). Is there a specific 'Share Access' or 'File Locking' setting in this version to allow renaming in Explorer without closing the tab?

No, you will need to either rename the file through our UI, or close it, to rename it via the windows explorer.
