What can I do with this options in the property dialog?

It doesn't matter what I select, no change in the in appearance of the table of content

Hello christian140787,

this setting configures the page labels (logical page numbers) corresponding to each page of the added table of contents. To display these labels, you must enable the "Use logical page numbers" option, which is available in the Thumbnails pane's Options menu or the Preferences dialog.

It looks like those options only control how bookmark numbering is displayed in the generated table of contents. If changing the format has no visible effect, the bookmarks in your PDF may not contain numbering information, or the TOC may be using the bookmark titles exactly as they are defined. In that case, modifying the numbering settings won't produce any noticeable changes in the final output. You may need to adjust the bookmark structure itself to see a difference.
