Inconsistent coordinate labels and values between Actions and Named Destinations

Hello all,

I would like to report an issue regarding the inconsistency of coordinate displays (labels and values) in the properties and dialogs.

To reproduce this, I created a fresh new document (Default Letter size) after completely resetting the application settings. I then added one new bookmark and one new named destination. Both point to the exact same location at the top-left corner of the first page.

When attempting to edit these destinations—via the Bookmark Properties and the Named Destinations pane respectively—a list dialog / pane and an edit dialog are displayed during the process. This results in a total of four UI elements showing the coordinates. The labels and values displayed in each are as follows:

• Bookmark (Action)
  • (List dialog) X: 0 pt, Y: 792 pt
  • (Edit dialog) Left: 0 pt, Top: 792 pt
• Named Destination
  • (Pane) Left: 0.0; Top: 0.0;
  • (Edit dialog) Left: 0 pt, Top: 792 pt

All of these refer to exactly the same position, and within the PDF, they are all denoted as [ 7 0 R /XYZ 0 792 null ]. Therefore, while it would be ideal for the same information to be displayed, there are currently differences in the following aspects:

1. Bookmark (Action): The numerical values are identical, but the labels differ between the list dialog and the edit dialog ("X" vs "Left" / "Y" vs "Top").
2. Named Destination: The labels are identical, but the numerical values differ between the pane and the edit dialog (0.0 vs 792 pt).

There seems to be room for improvement to make these UI displays consistent.

This is a follow-up information.

I would like to focus on the display results in the Named Destinations pane. When opening the "Edit Named Destinations" dialog for the destinations included in the sample file (sample2.pdf), they should appear as shown in the image below.

In my previous report, the destination was specified using the /XYZ format, but this time it is specified using the /FitR (Rectangle) format.
As you can see, the Details column in the Named Destinations pane displays the values as follows:

• Left:0.0; Bottom:692.0; Right:100.0; Top:0.0;

Please note that while the Bottom coordinate is 692.0 pt based on the standard PDF coordinate system (where the origin is at the bottom-left of the page), the Top coordinate is 0.0 pt, which mistakenly assumes the origin is at the top-left of the page. This indicates that different, mismatched coordinate systems are being applied to the bottom and top of the bounding rectangle.

For your reference, both the bookmark (action) and the named destination are written in the PDF's internal code as follows:
