Titles of bookmarks generated from highlights

When I generate bookmarks from highlights, the titles of the bookmarks are the same as or an abbreviation of the highlighted text. How can one generate bookmark with titles from the Subject of the highlight text properties instead?

Note, I realize that I can edit the bookmark titles after they are generated, but these do not survive if I regenerate them from highlights. Because I am working with a living document, I am likely to regenerate the bookmarks periodically.

I am afraid there is not currently any way to do so. I can raise the idea with the Dev team, but I cannot promise it will be implemented at this time.

Some of us have asked for the capability to 'lock' titles of Bookmarks. That may be under consideration. If it were available, it might provide a solution to this user's inquiry.

I appreciate the thought, but given OP's inquiry is related to deleting and re-creating the bookmarks from the start.. That option likely wont exist for this use case.

I'm not sure I read it the same way as you, Daniel, in that the second paragraph below suggests that OP is concerned about Bookmarks surviving regeneration as new Bookmarks get added via generations from additional document text.

I infer that once they have generated Bookmarks, they want those Bookmarks to survive even if there is another Bookmark generation iteration.

Perhaps JSharer can weigh in here and straighten us (or one of us) out.
