Where do report emails go? Should we expect an answer?

I have sent a few reports, never to receive an answer. I wanted to know if this is normal (in this case, I prefer to use the forums).

Hi,

we receive many emails each day on the Viewer - some reporting bugs and other's making suggestions etc - and some that are just a litle 'strange' - we tend to respond directly only if we need more info or can answer a question directly.

I promise you all are read and if possible acted upon - I guess the real test is have reported a problem that has not been resolved after a reasonable timer frame or a perhaps a couple of builds have been released?

If so - please do let us know - just in case they are being deleted by our spam filters/AV software on the server.

Can you say me email from which you sent reports?
I'm trying to answer on all emails, and I don't remember any unanswered.

I used the help > report problem option.
I notice that there's nowhere in the form that pops up to include a 'from' email... so I really wonder how anyone could contact me from there.

NOTE: I found that under edit > preferences there's a box where one can place one's email. I'll try filling that up and sending emails again.

Oh! Now I see it calls outlook (which I don't have configured).
I use Opera M2 for mail, but the OS doesn't know it seems.
I get a popup from the program asking for permission to use outlook, then it hungs.
