Create stamp from clipboard

Post by David.P »

Hi forum & Tracker team,

since I use PDF-XChange Viewer more and more every day, and since PDF-XChange Viewer for me almost has replaced Adobe Acrobat Professional (except for OCR'ing scanned PDF's), I have realized another little feature which was handy in Acrobat and is not yet present in PDF-XChange Viewer.

Very often, I would copy part of a page in a PDF and simply paste it on another page or in another PDF, for reference. In Acrobat, the stamp pasting simply works by hitting Ctrl-V when the hand tool is active. The content of the clipboard (if it is a bitmap) then gets pasted as a stamp on the current page.

Afterwards, that new stamp can be resized, positioned AND cut/pasted again, on another page.

This simple addition would make PDF-XChange Viewer even more appropriate as a nearly full replacement of the (so-called) industry standard.

Thanks for listening and
Cheers David.P

Hi,

for now you can just add a clipboard image into new the stamps collection, and select it from this collection.
