Bookmark Perishes When Files Are Combined

Situation: Using the Combine Files tool to combine the pages of two (or more) files and merge their Bookmarks. One file has a Bookmark with the sole Action "Open a Web Link".

Problem: All the Bookmarks are merged and are visible in the Bookmarks panel except the Bookmark with the Open a Web Link action.

What gives?

Could you please check which option is selected for bookmarks in the additional options sub-dialog when using the "Combine Files" feature?

If you have "Copy Related" selected, only bookmarks that point to specific pages being added to the resulting document will be migrated. Since an "Open a Web Link" action doesn't reference any internal page, it is impossible to determine its relation to the document, so it is automatically ignored.

To fix this, change the setting to "Copy All" (which is selected by default). In this mode, all bookmarks, regardless of their actions, will be successfully added to the resulting document.
